We met as students at UC Berkeley in 2019. We were both studying biology and were curious to understand the links between what physically makes “meat” from a scientific perspective and what creates great taste from a culinary perspective.
Our core belief is that creating an unforgettable culinary experience is the key to truly great food. We create delicious food from clean, simple plant ingredients that are good for the planet and for you. We’ve created a process for capturing the varied, rich texture of meat without using animals. Sundial’s delicious plant-based whole cuts are complete with delicate, crispy skin and tender meat.
